When we first envisioned the ‘Healing Minds and Spines’ mission trips, our dream was to bring together elite minority surgeons, medical volunteers, and psychologists who share a passion for serving communities in need 🌍 Our program provides FREE mental health and surgical care to individuals with severe spinal conditions in Africa and the Caribbean, while also focusing on sustainability ❤️🔥
By creating multi-year training programs, we ensure the local surgeons in the countries we visit are empowered to confidently perform complex spinal surgeries long after our team has returned home—leaving a lasting impact on the communities we serve‼️
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, partners, and volunteers, the @backtohealing_org team has traveled to inner-city regions throughout Africa and the Caribbean to give back, heal, and educate.
